Elon Musk has suggested that within the next few years, advances in AI could make work optional for many people. Whether that timeline proves right or wrong, the direction of travel is difficult to ignore.
AI is already changing how we work, how businesses operate and how we access information. At the same time, money itself is becoming increasingly digital. Stablecoins, digital assets and self-custody wallets are giving people new ways to hold and control value, while AI is beginning to make these technologies easier to understand and navigate.
We can see the two worlds starting to come together. Albert, the in app AI within BiPS DEX, is one example of how AI can help people better understand a financial system that can otherwise feel complex.
But smarter technology doesn’t remove the need for smart people. If anything, it makes human judgement, critical thinking and the ability to ask the right questions more important.

If AI really does change our relationship with work in the next few years, perhaps the bigger question is: how will it change our relationship with money?
